SHIC Working Party
The SHIC Working Party was formed in 1980 and - with some changes in its membership - continues to maintain the Social History and Industrial Classification (SHIC) now in its second edition, SHIC2. The Working Party meets periodically to discuss suggested updates to the classification.
The Working Party has also published Simple Subject Headings.
Both are available in printed form. See MDA's publications page.
It is planned, that in the near future, that they will be available on SPECTRUM Terminology.
